Need directions to one of our events? The maps below are to our most common public event locations. For directions to our lesser used public events, private/reserved events, and dark skies sites, see Other Event Locations.

Monthly Meetings at the Fort Collins Museum of Discovery

Our monthly meetings are on the first Thursday of the month, held in the Digital Dome of the Fort Collins Museum of Discovery, just north of Fort Collins’ Old Town.

Bobcat Ridge Natural Area

NoCoAstro hosts public observation nights in the parking lot of Bobcat Ridge Natural Area, west of Fort Collins. Check the Events page to see when we will be out there next!

These events are free, but due to the limited number of parking spaces, guests (not volunteers) must pre-register for these events on the Fort Collins Natural Areas NatureTracker Website.

Fossil Creek Reservoir

We set up in the parking lot at the end of the Natural Area Entrance. The Natural Area entrance can be easily missed, off of East Country Road 32 - so make sure to pay attention.

Upper Beaver Meadows, Rocky Mountain National Park, CO

From the Beaver Meadows Park Entrance, keep driving on the main road. Just before starting to ascend Navy Hill Rd, there is a turnoff to Upper Beaver Meadows Road. This is an unmarked dirt road. We set up in the parking lot at the end of this road, several miles from the turnoff.

Boyd Lake, Loveland, CO

On the north-west side of the lake is a park/natural area. We set up in the parking lot at the south-most spot in this park.

Carter Lake Reservoir, CO

You can find us at the south-side of Carter Lake, which is due west from Berthoud, CO, in the southern most (and largest) parking lot there.
